Implementation of Kailasa’s Economy

The whole government, governance of Kailasa has to run within less than one percent of the whole economy, the whole GDP of Kailasa. Only then the Sannyāsīs will retain their brahminical … lifestyle. Understand, in Kailasa - varṇa: Brāhmaṇa, Kṣatriya, Vaiśya, Śūdra, does not come by birth - jāti. No! It comes by the quality of your lifestyle. Base on how you exist, how you choose to exist - base on that, you are given the title whether you are a Brāhmaṇa or Vaiśya or Kṣatriya or Śūdra; not by birth, but by quality. And, the Sannyāsīs who are administering for the Governors, who are Directors of the Reserve Bank of Kailasa, or Federal Reserve of Kailasa, is expected to have absolute Aparigraha and Asteya lifestyle; living with minimal things, the minimalist, minimalistic lifestyle and non-stealing lifestyle.

Illusory Wealth vs Real Wealth

In the world, there are two types of weath - the ‘illusory wealth’ and ‘real wealth’. Hinduism describes ‘Shankha Nidhi’ and ‘Padma Nidhi’. Padma Nidhi means the ‘Lotus Wealth’; it is illusory. Shankha - ‘Conch’ - real wealth’.  There are some things - ‘real wealth’ – your house, your clothes, your jewellery. This is real wealth. There is an illusory wealth, created for the sake of exchange purpose – currency, the value of currency.  ‘Pseudo-wealth’ means Share Trading, Currency Trading, currency-related businesses, keeping the value of the currency high or low, all the businesses related to that. Only in that business you need this pattern of competing and conquering to be a successful person.  The economy should be thought, planned based on ‘ShankhaNidhi’, means real wealth. If we work on the real wealth, the whole world will have everything we need. After all, we have only seven billion people. Easily we can feed them, clothe them, house them, give them medical care. We can put more energy and resources into doing research about extending the lifespan. The real-wealth based economies will never collapse. It is the pseudo-wealth based economies collapse.

Economic Strategy of KAILASA

Economic strategy of Kailasa - economic chastity: a money allotted to a temple should be used only for temple; cannot be used for any other purposes or any other secular activities or any other religious activity. Listen. If a money is allotted to temple - that money cannot be taken and used for … running a monastery. No. If a money is allotted, that means the donor intends this dāna for a monastery, you can’t use that money for running a temple. If the dāna is intended for conducting certain celebrations, utsavas, rituals, in temple - it cannot be used for any other utsavas, rituals, or any other unintended purposes. Intention and dāna is married eternally in Hinduism.  So all Hindu wealth should be handled only with the Hindu economy policies; not with secular or any other religious, other religions’ economy policies. The secular economic policies has no right to enter into Hindu wealth, or the handling of the Hindu wealth!         Wealth intended for certain purpose should be used only for that purpose.

Economic Chastity of KAILASA

That economic chastity evolves from this principle: the sacred action, basically sacred intention. Intention of the yajña: … listen, if a yajña is a Puruṣa, Yajñapuruṣa; if the yajña is considered as Yajñapuruṣa - saṅkalpa, intention is the potency of Yajñapuruṣa. So the potency of Yajñapuruṣa - intention, and the dāna given for that yajña, both are married. The chastity, exclusivity and chastity between these two is important for the result, phala - child to be born. Phala, result is the child which is to be born between the Yajñapuruṣa and dāna, Strī. Dāna is considered as Ājñā, Strī. Yajña is considered as the Puruṣa. Saṅkalpa of the yajña, Satya Saṅkalpa of the yajña is the potency of Puruṣa. Only if there is a chastity between the dāna given and the intention - the phala, child is born, result is manifested. This is one of the most important economic principle of KAILASA.

Wealth and Intention

In Hindu tradition, the yajña - the sacred action you do to manifest the highest states, whether in wealth or health or to have a child; anything you want to manifest, you can manifest through yajña. That sacred action - kriyā, is considered to be the male - Yajñapuruṣa. And dāna given, wealth given with yajña; that wealth, dāna is considered female - Strī. When this male and female joined together, the phala, result - child is born. So, the sacred kriyā and the dāna allotted, both are married together. This always stayed together. The intention and the wealth dedicated to it, both are married. The economical chastity is too important for the result, phala - child to be born. Listen. This is one of the most important economic principle of Kailasa. Intention is married to the wealth forever!  Satya Saṅkalpa is the potency of Yajñapuruṣa. Understand. Your whole life is yajña. Your Satya Saṅkalpa matters. The time you spend in planet earth is dāna you give. Your body is the greatest weapon you carry. The time you spend in moving your body, using your body, is the dāna you do. Your time, your treasure, your talent: all these … can manifest something extraordinary which you never even imagine, if conscious intention is added, and if you cognize the possibility and powers of conscious intention! The money given to buy...

Life is Intelligent, Compassionate and Loves You

See, you see a knife in the hands of a thief, robber, who is standing next to you; and you see a knife in the hands of your mother.  Both are knives.  But how do you respond to both knives?  Mother playfully puts the knife near the neck of a child and says, ‘Are you not afraid?’ The child says, ‘No!’ ‘Are you not afraid of the knife?’  ‘No, I am not afraid of the knife, because it is in YOUR hand!  It is in my mother’s hand!’ Life’s knife is in the hands of Pure Consciousness which is intelligent, compassionate and loves you.  It is not in the hands of a robber.  Other than the idea you have that you are violated, you can NEVER be violated.  You can NEVER be violated!  You can go on trying to convince everyone that you are getting violated.  In that process, because you repeat it so many times, you make everyone believe, and you also start believing you are violated! Non-stealing, non-demanding, brings you freedom. Realizing you don’t need to brings you the ultimate freedom.   All your secret strategies for coveting only brings SDHD – Self-Doubt, Self-Hatred, Self-Denial – in you.  So, drop all the plans you have secretly for coveting, and understand honestly, sincerely, you don’t need to covet, and you can live your life by going on enriching....

Fundamental Truth of the Cosmos

The Isavasya Upanishad declares the fundamental truth of the Cosmos - All that exists is Consciousness and change established in change is Consciousness. All enjoyment is possible only if you are clear it is consciously delivered to you, not accidently stolen by you.  As long as you feel you are not qualified, you will be stealing.  The more you are stealing, the more you will feel insecure.  The more insecure you feel, the more you will feel you are not qualified.  The first verse of the first Upanishad asks one to break that pattern.  Whatever change, whether you perceive it as good or bad, is consciously done to you by the higher consciousness which is more intelligent than you.  With this, if you look at your life with this cognition, suddenly you will see, for all the so-called bad things, you will see, the reason, Wow!  Life is asking you to reinvent yourself; for all the good things, you will see, you are qualified, life wants to celebrate through you.  Understand, the moment you understand you are qualified and life wants to celebrate through you, you will settle with so much of peace and joy!  You will settle with so much of peace and joy!  It will take away the insecurity you carry.  It will break the insecurity you carry.  The moment you know that...

Grow Wealth by Renunciation

īśāvāsyamidagṃ sarvaṃ yatkiñca jagatyāṃ jagat ।tena tyaktena bhuñjīthā mā gṛdhaḥ kasyasviddhanam ॥1॥kurvanneveha karmāṇi jijiviśecchatagṃ samāḥ ।evaṃ tvayi nanyatheto’sti na karma lipyate The most ancient Upanishad, Isavasya Upanishad, declares the ultimate Truth - By renouncing again and again, enjoy the whole Cosmos. This is the secret of vairāgya or renunciation - Anything removed from your life cannot make you powerless. This gives the strength to understand the fundamental powerful cognition of life,  “Anything can be removed from me; I will not become powerless, I will not become depressed, I will not lose anything, I will not be lost, I may not even remember that I had that in my life!”

Summary of the Four Principles

First conclusion you need to arrive is : Integrity is the best strategy. The next conclusion you need to arrive : own but don’t possess. Go on sharing; whether it is you or your space or your qualities or your qualifications. Third, let your enriching be most authentic – everyday upgrade yourself. Ultimate should not be final. Ultimate grows every day. Ultimate is not final. Today’s ultimate is not tomorrow’s ultimate. Tomorrow’s ultimate is different. Brahmanda expands, Cosmos expands. For you something is ultimate today, which is not ultimate tomorrow. It expands. So, go on becoming authentic in your sharing, enriching. Next important conclusion - do not feel shy to encourage people to support you back to enrich the world.

Fourth Principle of Wealth Consciousness – Encourage People to Contribute Back

Next important conclusion - do not feel shy to encourage people to support you back to enrich the world. Be confident, courageous about what you are doing. Don’t be meek, weak. Be confident about what you are contributing and encourage people to contribute back, so you can continue to contribute, you can keep this dharma chakra alive.

Third Principle of Wealth Consciousness – Bring Brilliance in your Sharing

If you think, food is the best thing happened in your life, you can do just annadaan. If you think, education is the best thing happened in your life, you share that with the world. That’s your charity. If you think, clothes are the best things happened to your life and you share the clothes – vastra daana. That’s your charity. If you think enlightenment and spiritual powers are the best thing happened in your life, you share that with the world.  Share in a very intelligent way. Let your enriching be authentic performance of you. You can enrich the world by sitting and painting the table or you can enrich the world by teaching the science of making tables. You decide what is the most authentic way you can enrich.

Second Principle of Wealth Consciousness – Ownership Not Possessiveness

The second decision is based on the truth of life - A man who owns, manifests wealth. A man who possesses suffers with stress and depression. Possessing is exclusiveness. Owning is inclusiveness. Owning and letting everyone enjoy it is real wealth. Whoever you are, be a writer or a speaker or a thinker, own it and make more and more people enjoy it.  When you own and make more and more people enjoy, you will manifest wealth. If you possess and be with an exclusivity, you will deprive yourself and collapse into poverty.  Owning but not possessing means go on sharing. Sometimes people, when they take up a job, develop vengeance towards the boss, “You are giving only 50000 USD salary for me, I’ll work only for 8 hours, minimum, just to handle your questions, not more than that.” So this is the way the employee starts. He thinks he is cheating his boss. In 6 months, he himself starts believing this much only is his capacity. He has cheated himself! Cheating your boss, in 6 months, you will believe that as your capacity and you will cheat yourself forever. You making your boss believe this is only your capacity because you want to take revenge on him. You want to possess you, you don’t want to own you. Own you and let everyone enjoy you. Your attitudes, your understanding, your behavior, everything, if it is all...

Manifesting Your Cognition is Life

Whatever cognitions, conclusions you have about life in your life you will go on manifesting that every day. If you have the conclusion you are going to fall sick day by day, the more and more you breathe every day, every night, finally you will manifest that. It is your conclusions you manifest. If you have the conclusion, ‘the cunning methods, cheating brings wealth’, you will only be manifesting that or waiting for some cunning methodology to click, so you can manifest wealth. All waiting for cunning strategies to manifest wealth ends in frustration and then you have a deep negative cognition about wealth that you can never have it.

First Principle of Wealth Consciousness – No Cunning Strategies

What does it take to make the ‘wealth consciousness’?  First thing, decision - your cognition, your depth should decide with all integrity and authenticity and responsibility somewhere to enrich the society, humanity. Through cunningness and stealing and grabbing, you can never get the wealth or retain it. Fundamental principle for wealth consciousness, the first awakening you need to have is no cunning strategies. No cunning strategies are going to work. The shortest distance between two points is a straight line. The shortest distance between two points is a straight line. The most powerful, most powerful strategy for manifesting wealth is Integrity. If you are really interested in living with wealth forever, the easiest and the right strategy for wealth is integrity. Decide with responsibility, you will start contributing to the humanity.

Wealth, Currency, Economy

You need to put your energy in the direction of wealth, not in the direction of currency. Understand. Currency should be your by-product. Early morning when you wake up, you should know - what is your life out of freedom, joy and live whole day. Because you are breathing, the currency should follow you. That is wealth consciousness. Because you are conscious, wealth should be following you. That is wealth consciousness. Understand. Any hitching towards the wealth, any hitching towards the wealth, is not earning wealth, it is only getting tortured towards currency. Wealth as per Paramashiva is Your ability to intelligently enrich the society in some form. Enriching the humanity in some form and doing it very intelligently and inspiring the humanity to contribute back to you, so you can continue to enrich is “wealth”. That is wealth consciousness. That is the strategy for wealth. Currency is modus operandi. The methodology through which interaction and transactions happen, is currency. If the wealth consciousness is awakened in multiple people and you make the currency more current, that is called economy.

Myth of Charity Debunked

Charity as it is practiced today by most people is the most cunning, trickiest way of keeping the value of currency up. It is only by charity even the idea of currency is going to be kept valuable for a middle class and lower middle class. If you know you are not going to get it, you are not going to work for it. If the carrot is dangled in front of you, that it is going to be available for you, you are going to run behind it.  Most charities do charity as only then the idea, concept of ‘currency’ is going to be kept alive. If you know something is never going to come in your life, you are not going to run behind it. You are going to be completely frustrated about the currency. When the mass starts getting frustrated about currency, the collective global economic meltdown starts happening. Economic meltdown is nothing but mass getting to the understanding, mass trying to come out of the delusion called “currency”.   Currency is instrument. Instrument itself is not intelligent. Instrument can only be transactional mechanism. It can used to kindle your fear and greed. But, if that transactional mechanism called currency is unreachable for you, then you are just going to be frustrated and say, “Shutdown, come on, no!” Then what is the use of working? It is no more relevant to you. Anything which can drive your...

Roots of True Charity

Your decision to contribute to the world, your decision to be intelligent through your contribution, your decision to inspire, your ability to inspire people to support you back so you can continue to contribute is the real triangle of wealth.  Wealth is like water. Jump into it, enjoy it, play with it – but never try to hold it in your closed fist. The law of wealth is when it is shared, you are showered with it. There is no rich man who became rich just by being a miser. There is no poor man who became poor by giving. It is the law of nature. The fact of life is when we are afraid to share our wealth, it means we have a deep doubt of our ability to create more wealth. We feel that we are wealthy by fluke or accident, and if we give away our wealth, we may never be able to create the same wealth again. If we were certain that we will lose nothing by giving freely, charity would come more readily to us.  Giving freely does not mean that one should allow oneself to be exploited. Charity is not foolishness. Having a clear idea of how much we have, how much we need and how much we can create again, will give the intelligence to handle wealth without fear or greed. Charity is a spiritual practice. When we give in charity, it means that we are ready to take responsibility for the well-being of others. We break...

Wealth Creation by Contribution Vs Violence

Any wealth generated by contribution always comes with you, it is permanent. Never create wealth based on violence. For example you are a teacher, you teach, good things, not bad things. Of course if you're teaching to kill that will not be a good money. If you are teaching people to contribute and generate wealth, that will come forever with you. Anything done by contribution, addition will come with you forever. There are only two kinds of people who are wealthy on the Planet Earth, among humanity: One, who manifest wealth; the other, who manipulate wealth. That’s all! Thoughts are like Lakshmi. If you know how to manifest them, you are manifesting wealth. But if you are stupid to manipulate yourself, you will be manipulating wealth. Anything manifested can never be taken away from you by anybody!

Vedic Definition of Wealth

When Cosmos constantly expands that is Artha - wealth. When your ambitions for expansion, wealth, is in tune with the ambitions of the Cosmos, that is Artha. Your desire to expand in tune with the Cosmic values of expansion is Artha. If you make money by contributing, that is what is Artha. In Sanskrit, word Artha has two meaning - ‘meaning’ and ‘wealth’. If you have an Artha and you make Artha, it is Artha. Means, if you mean something for society and make wealth out of it, it is Artha. If you have a meaning, if you mean something for society, humanity and make wealth out of it, that is Artha. You have both ways, you can make wealth - by creating weapons to kill others and by healing and by treating, giving medical care. You can do for-life things and anti-life things; both bring money.

Wealth is an Extension of You

Wealth is not something outside of you; it is an extension of what is you. You go on accumulating something in your life if you are conscious, organized. You accumulate wealth otherwise you accumulate poverty but you go on accumulating something.

What is Real Wealth

Hinduism and Vedic tradition defines wealth as more than just currency. Current which keeps the currency current is Wealth. What is fundamentally currency? If 100 of us are sitting here, and one has 10 USD note and he wants food, he gives that to somebody who supplies food, then he gives that to somebody who supplies raw material, he gives that to somebody who gives him health, he gives that to somebody who gives him a house, he gives that to somebody who gives him cloth. Continuously when it is moving, by the time the 1000 rupees moves among many hands, its value has increased.  The current which keeps the currency moving is the value of the currency. We may ask, “Why some country’s currency has high value, why some country’s currency has no value or low value?” It is our ability to keep our currency moving, the current which moves the currency, keeps the value for currency. If you have too many reasons to use the currency, which you can buy only through that currency, that keeps the value of that currency. There are multiple incompletions people carry about wealth. First thing, the moment you hear the word ‘wealth’, there is so much of that ‘depression,’ that deprived feeling, “Everyone has, I don’t have.”…. “For what I am contributing, I have not been given my share.” The various thought currents start....

Conclusion

KAILASASM, an economy based solely on Hindu principles, is aiming to recreate the enlightenment ecosystem that is described in the Veda-Agamas, which fueled the unprecedented economic abundance experienced by ancient Hindu civilizations.  Where Paramashiva embodies and incarnates on Earth, the place where He lives is called KAILASASM. The latest incarnation of Paramashiva is His Divine Holiness Bhagavan Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam. His goal is to create a superconscious society through liberating economic practices outlined in the Agamas. These principles form the backbone of the Hindu Nation of KAILASASM, which focuses on consciousness based economic principles which emphasizes “people first”  ideologies such as non-violence, harmony with nature, equality, equal opportunity, women’s empowerment, charity and gratitude. The hallmark of such a system would be free education, holistic health and food, prosperity and enlightenment for all. References M. V. Beyond the -isms of Economics

Hindu economy is neither capitalism or socialism, nor is it communism - it is a realistic economic system for the modern day. It is not capitalism in the sense that it does not allow for all aspects of life to be commercialized by profit enterprise (e.g. education is  free, and health care is non-exploitative). It is not communism where everyone is rewarded the same irrespective of what they do. It is a contribution based economy, based on “responsibilism”.  Other economic theories are based on infinite consumption. They treat people as objects to be exploited. Hindu economic principle considers people as conscious beings, catering to their enlightenment while ensuring their success both in the inner world as well as the outer world.

Investments and Innovation

In fact, the key insight here is that the fiat-currency model has been exported to both education and healthcare in this world leading to exploitative economies. In Paramashiva’s economy, currency only comes into play for projects that require the coordination of people and resources for long-term investments. But this currency should be based on contribution – trading time and energy to create money and ownership and responsibility should be distributed throughout the system. Another key principle of KAILASA’s economy is the use of crypto-currency model that does away with the shortcomings of a fiat model where money is based on debt, flows in a layered fashion, leading to incomplete knowledge and exploitation of common citizens. Using a crypto-currency will promote a world wide economy, which can actively encourage businesses around the world who believe and operate on Hindu economic principles to not only participate in the KAILASA economy but also thrive and benefit from it.  As a result, KAILASA’s economic policy should encourage enormous investments in long-term projects, spur unlimited innovation in technology, arts, medicine, manufacturing, farming and other areas, much like it did in the past, creating innovators like Baudhayana (mathematics), Aryabhatta (astronomy), Brahmagupta (mathematics),...

Holistic Healthcare & Food

Paramashiva says in the Agamas that anything required for day to day living and lifestyle should be created in a self-sufficient way in a healthy economy. In KAILASASM this applies to  healthcare, clothing and food. Self-sufficient economies do not outsource their basic needs. But in the modern consumption-based economy, outsourcing things like food has led to creation of dependence of the society on food-like products, which leads to poor health. Traditional Hindu economy had two layers - sangha nidhi (wealth from the ocean) and paduma nidhi (wealth from the ground). Ground based wealth can be metal or grain.  KAILASA’s economy will focus on gold and grain. Grain will be an important part of the economy and can be traded for just like money. Modern society has created an imbalance in two ways - rampant consumerism has replaced food with food-like products, which has led to devaluation of grains and also plunging health. By elevating grain to the level of importance of gold, KAILASA will automatically create self-sustaining ecosystems where health is of highest priority. Modern medicine focuses on sickness and cure - doctors are rewarded when they cure sick people, so they do not have immense incentive to keep people healthy in the first place. KAILASA’s economy will focus on holistic health and...

Key Benefits of KAILASA’s Economic System

Free Education An important core principle of KAILASA’s economy (as specified by Parmashiva in the Agamas) is that anything that increases in value by being shared should be freely available to all e.g. education, open-source software. That way the growth of the individual and the growth of the society is directly aligned.  This translates into the idea that “Knowledge is Free”. The government of KAILASA will take up full responsibility for everyone’s education (not just children). The Agamas say that fees paid for education comes from gratitude, a very important concept that “pays it forward” in the society. Those who gain from education give from the space of gratitude. Gratitude is an important aspect of KAILASA’s economy. In fact, today those who give with gratitude for what they have gained are truly kings of the modern world, as they have taken on the role of monarchs of ancient times.

Enriching & Charity (“Dhaana”)

The KAILASASM economy is built to reward the ability to intelligently enrich the society in some form and inspire humanity to contribute back to you, so you can continue to enrich - that is “wealth”. His Divine Holiness defines wealth based on its ability to circulate and create more wealth. KAILASA will encourage “Lakshmi’s wealth” (money which circulates) vs “Kubera’s wealth” (money that is static). Charity was an important part of wealth: Rigved (X.117.4) says: “na sakhaa yo na dadaati sakhye sachaa bhuve sachamaanaaya pitvah” (A person is no friend if he does not help the needy; but one who helps is a real friend). In fact, a businessman was not considered successful in Hindu economics unless they shared their profit through charity. The Taittreya Upanishad (1.11.13) says: Shraddayaa deyam. Shriyaa deyam. Hriyaa deyam. Bhiyaa deyam. Samvida deyam. (Give with commitment. Give generously. Give with humility. Give with respect. Give with understanding.). Swami Vivekananda made the quote from the Upanishads “Atmano mokshartam jagat hitayacha” (personal enlightenment comes from enriching the world) the motto of Sri Ramakrishna Mission.  The Bank of KAILASA will be structured to incentivize businesses that follow the practice of enriching the world and giving back to the society. Ancient Hindu practice was to give...

Non-violent and Non-Exploitative

Since flowing with consciousness or cosmic law (dharma) is an integral to KAILASA’s economy, non-violence and non-exploitativeness are core principles. This creates for the first time, an economy where the various identities of a person - their individual, corporate, national or global identities - are not in conflict with each other.  Ahimsa (non-violence), Asteya (non-stealing), Aparigragha (living with minimal needs) and Satya (living with the truth) have always been vows taken by sanyaasis. KAILASA will hence be a non-violent economy where exploitative industries like drugs or alcohol will not be allowed. Hinduism has always believed in a non-exploitative labor philosophy - workers are not given “wages” but are invested in the outcome. Equitable distribution of wealth based on the value of their skill and input gives them ownership of both the upside and the downside. Second is the idea of “nonviolent money” where value is created purely based on businesses that enrich people (eliminating any business or economic practice that thrives on fear, greed and exploitation, such as insurance). These principles also dictate that KAILASA’s economy will emphasize harmony with nature, with animals enjoying certain rights. Companies in KAILASA will be legally required to ensure that their practices are in alignment with...

Gender Equality

In Hindu economics, women were not only treated equal to men, but often elevated to a higher level. Several references from Atharvaveda (Brahmcharya Sukta) not only refer to the importance of education of women, but also acknowledge their central role in economics and prosperity of a family. Girls should train themselves to become complete scholars and youthful through Brahmacharya and then enter married life. Atharvaveda 11.5.18 Oh woman! You know everything. Please provide us strength of prosperity and wealth Atharvaveda 7.47.2 KAILASASM embraces the philosophy of empowerment of women. His Divine Holiness has worked tirelessly for gender equality not only in the economic society, but also in the spiritual and religious realm. Women will be allowed to be priests in temples, and be able to take sanyaas (or monkhood). These are core and ancient practices of Hinduism as prescribed by Parmashiva in the Agamas.  As we mentioned before His Divine Holiness follows the practice of conferring the yagnopavita to women also, as per the original Veda-Agamas.

Core Characteristics of KAILASA’s Economic Practices

Equality and Equal Opportunity for Everyone  KAILASASM, the Hindu nation, aims to create the largest worldwide enlightenment ecosystem. As a consequence KAILASA’s goal is to establish a thriving economy based on the principles of Oneness and enlightenment for all. KAILASA’s goal is to legitimately prove that an economy operating on Hindu religious principles can generate wealth without exploitation, and create a political-economic framework that can provide equality and opportunity for everyone irrespective of their gender, color, creed, family origin, or any other differences. KAILASA’s economy would operate on the principle of the varnas which says that everyone has equal opportunity to seek the living of their choosing based on their guna-karma. Thus KAILASA is a contribution based economy, where success depends on “responsibilism” - the amount of responsibility one takes for the world.   His Divine Holiness has followed the practice of conferring the yagnopavita (the sacred thread that in mainstream practice worn only by Brahmin men) not only to women, but to everyone who is initiated, elevating everyone irrespective of their caste, creed, color, background into a seeker of enlightenment. KAILASA will be solidly established in this principle of equality.

People First

Core theme that sets apart KAILASA’s economy is putting people first, ahead of profits and material wealth. This principle derives naturally from the focus on dharma and moksha. “People are wealth, people are life, people are energy. Finally, people are God! Give everything to people. People bring everything you need. Whether it is basic things like food or things like love, joy, laughter everything people bring in your life. To enrich people, your involvement with people shows your involvement with life .” - HDH Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam In Paramashiva’s economy in KAILASASM, the people and Paramashiva are co-creators of money, where our ability to be intelligently active and constantly contributing is true wealth. The ability to keep the currency current and moving gives value to the currency.

Enlightenment based Ecosystem

According to Hindu economics, human goals or Purusharthas are four fold: artha (prosperity or wealth), kaama (pleasures), dharma (cosmic law) and moksha (liberation from the cycle of life and death). Thus, the traditional idea of wealth is only one part of the economic principles.  Two of the most important aspects that drive Hindu economy are: Dharma - which can be interpreted as flowing with the cosmic law. Part of dharma is ethics. Hindu economic practices cannot be separated from ethics.Moksha - realizing our true reality, that we are consciousness, we are in the space of “Oneness” or Advaita. Realizing this state and space of Oneness is described as enlightenment. Functioning in this world while in this space of enlightenment is called “Living Enlightenment” by His Divine Holiness.  Such a society using Advaita as a strategy for success is an “Enlightenment-based ecosystem”, and the economy is an enlightenment based (consciousness-based) economy. According to Paramashiva, all enlightenment-based ecosystems share certain behavioural patterns.

Introduction to Hindu Economic Principles

Principle of Advaita (Oneness) For the nation of KAILASASM, many applications of these economic principles are primarily from the Agamas authored by Paramashiva, the original author of the science of yoga and enlightenment. The Agamas can be considered applied science based on the principles in the Vedas and the Upanishads - which is Advaita.  Ishavasya Upanishad says in its very first verse “Consciousness pervades everything”.  While this may imply that consciousness is the primary reality, and the objects it manifests as are secondary reality, the Veda-Agamas does not imply that the material world should not be taken into account - only that the ultimate reality (paramarthika satya) cannot be ignored and has to be taken into consideration. Which is why Paramashiva discusses wealth and economics in the Agamas. He sees wealth as a core expression of enlightenment, and details a framework to create a superconscious society through an Agamic economy.  Even sanyaas (monkhood), which means renunciation, means only renouncing one’s personal ties, but involves embracing and taking responsibility for the entire world [1].

Prosperity of Hindu Civilizations & Culture

In the 1980s the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) commissioned a study under a famous economic historian Angus Maddison. His monumental research  has shown that between years 1 and 1700 AD, India’s Hindu economy accounted for a quarter to one-third of the total world GDP, but began to decline sharply under foreign rule till in the 1950s their share of world GDP came down to 3 percent.  Pew Research on religious groups and Wall Street Journal reports that Hindus are  the best educated religious group in the U.S - 77% of American Hindus have a college degree, compared with an average of 27% for all U.S. adults. Hindus are the highest earning community in the US and highest tax paying community in many countries around the world.  Hindu economic principles - which promote abundance in both the inner and outer worlds and have been proven to create wealthy communities for many millennia - continue to be relevant in the modern world, thus disproving the limited views of economist and socialists such as Weber, Schweitzer and Kapp. Many core principles of a Hindu economy are outlined as early as in the Rig Veda (X.117.4) and various Upanishads. Subsequently, there were several sources of economic ideas in Hindu texts: Kautilya’s Arthashastra (320 BC), Shura-Neetisaara,...

Economic Principles of KAILASA

Core principles of the world’s greatest Hindu nation “Let us understand Paramashiva’s concept of currency, wealth and economy: I am defining wealth as per Sadashiva from Agamas. Your ability to intelligently enrich the society in some form - enriching does not mean only through teaching, it can even be stitching their shoes. Even that is enriching; enriching in some form. Enriching humanity in some form and doing it very intelligently and inspiring humanity to contribute back to you, so you can continue to enrich - that is “wealth”. That is wealth consciousness. That’s the strategy for wealth.  Currency is modus operandi. The methodology through which interaction and transactions happen, is currency. If the wealth consciousness is awakened in multiple people and you make the currency more current, that is called economy. Understand I have defined these three words - wealth, currency and economy. End of the day just if your existence makes money you will not be bothered about money. Your very consciousness will live wealthy. The economy Sadashiva is teaching is neither capitalism or communism nor socialism - it is Responsibilism. The responsibility you take that decides the kind of wealth that is going to be around you.” ~His Divine Holiness Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam, 5th Nov 2017, Bengaluru,...

Vision & Mission

KAILASA functions based on consciousness based economy. Your worth in KAILASA is your ability to manifest spiritual powers and powerful cognitions. Yoga will give you the nervous strength and destroy the fear of getting enlightened.  One integrated person is equivalent to 100 million dollars. The KAILASA economy is different. Integrity is the way to get KAILASA wherever you are. Getting grounded in deep love makes you manifest integrity. Learn integrity by going to temple everyday, doing Anmartha puja, doing yoga, spiritual practices of power manifestation. One person integrated into this lifestyle is equivalent to a hundred billion dollars in KAILASA economy.  KAILASA is getting built like a large Hindu joint family structure! Till death, parents are owners, because they never write it off; they only will the property. The youngsters will be waiting to destroy the properties by running riot. So, that is the best system; never writing, only willing. Till parents are alive, you have to learn money management and the principles of economy. Your hormones out of other casualness and other life destructive patterns would not make you a pauper.  That's the beauty of Hindu joint family economy. It never leaves anyone poor. Always everything is provided for everyone. If you achieve anything on your own it is...

KAILASA – The Revival of Hindu Economic Policies

Excerpts from Nithya Satsang delivered on 19 August, 2020 by Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism, Jagatguru Mahasannidhanam, His Divine Holiness Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam Everything is ready for launching the Reserve Bank of KAILASA and Federal Reserve of KAILASA and the 8 units associated to Reserve Bank of KAILASA. With the grace of Ganapati and Paramashiva, the Reserve Bank of KAILASA is already international news, not just regional or national! Let me introduce KAILASA in few words: Hinduism had 56 nations - Pandya, Chola, Kannada, Telanga, Gurjara, Surangi, Kashi, Gandhara, Nepala, Cambodia - Kamboja, Sri Lanka - Lankapuri… 56 nations called Akhanda Bharat from present day Afghanistan - Gandhara - from where Gandhari and Sakuni came, to this side Nepala from where mother Sita came. All the currencies we used in the 56 Hindu nations and all the economic policies and strategies we used in those 56 nations, the internal economic policies and economic policies for external trade, I am trying to revive and make them as a legitimate functional system. As I said many times, Hinduism needs revivors not reformers. I am not reformer, I am revivor. So this 56 Hindu nations, whatever currencies and policies and strategies we had, last two years we worked and studied more than 100 books. 8 sanyasis helped me to study,...

Enlightenment-Focused Economic Policies of Hinduism

Excerpts from Nithya Satsang delivered on 18 August, 2020 by Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism, Jagatguru Mahasannidhanam, His Divine Holiness Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam In Hindu tradition, knowledge is sacred. We never try to suppress, oppress, dampen the authority of the knowledge using the concept of sacred. The concept of sacred is used only to strengthen your intensity of seeking, your intention to gain more and more knowledge. Atato brahma jijnasat - Let us inquire into the ultimate reality existence Knowledge is sacred. Vidya is divya. We never used the principle called sacred to suppress, oppress, exploration of knowledge. That is the beauty of the tradition. That is why are so open to upgrading, evolving ourselves. It is a living civilization. It was, it is, it will be. सा विद्या या विमुक्तयेSā vidyā yā vimuktaye That is why vidya is given the form of a woman. In Hindu tradition, the woman of the house - her decision, her will persistence - makes the whole family flow in the direction of enlightenment. I have seen how passively, silently, non aggressively, with tremendous will persistence and patience, my own mother led the whole family towards the direction of enlightenment just because she is from that heritage. I don't think she even consciously planned. Just because she inherited the heritage, she kept...

KAILASA’s Principle of Economic Chastity

Excerpts from Nithya Satsang delivered on 17 August, 2020 by Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism, Jagatguru Mahasannidhanam, His Divine Holiness Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam Everyone’s intention and the wealth they possess are married to each other. In Hindu tradition, the yajnas, the sacred action you do to manifest the higher states, whether in health or wealth or to have a child, anything you want to manifest, you can manifest through yajna. That action is considered to be the male component - yajna purusha. The wealth, dana, given along with the yajna, is considered the female component. When the male and female join together, when they get married, the intention and wealth donated are married. Then, the economic chastity becomes too important for the “phala” - the child - to be born. This is one of the most important economic principles of KAILASA: “intention is married to the wealth forever.” The money given for fresh ginger, should not be used for buying dry ginger. That is the economic chastity of KAILASA. That economic chastity evolves from this principle - the sacred intention of the yajna. If the yajna is considered as yajna purusha, the sankalpa is the potency of the yajna purusha - the intention. So the potency - intention and the daana given, both are married. The absolute chastity between these two is...

Fiscal Structure of KAILASA

Excerpts from Nithya Satsang delivered on 14 August, 2020 by Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism, Jagatguru Mahasannidhanam, His Divine Holiness Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam Usually presidents, prime ministers, heads of states, if they want to announce something to the world, there will be a formal press meet. They will announce during the press meet. They will answer the questions and then it will be taken to the world. Here, I did not even make the announcement. I said I will make the announcement on Ganesh Chaturthi about the currency of KAILASA. But it is all over international media! I finished the satsang and sat in Samadhi, attended to my Puja and all my spiritual activities and when I came back, it is flashing all over the world about reserve bank of KAILASA! I only said we are ready to announce and we are going to be announcing. We are ready with all the economic policies. I was planning that, in this 10-day Brahmotsavam I will detail out all the economic policies with Shastra Pramana in both languages. The policies are formed based on Sanskrit scriptures and they are in Sanskrit, translated into English and Tamil. I am still not able to logically understand why this reserve bank of KAILASA became so popular and viral! Here I have many strategies, principles, policies to share with you all, with the whole...
